Wajoma Australian Shepherds

Welcome to Wajoma.  A small, exclusive kennel located on the north side of Brisbane in Queensland. I became involved with dog showing and breeding in 1997 when I developed an interest in Tenterfield Terriers. I was on the committee of the Qld Tenterfield Terrier Club both before and after the breed became recognised by the ANKC, and attended the very first National Show in 2000, where the breed standard was determined. 

In more recent times, my heart has been stolen by the beautiful Australian Shepherd breed. Aussies are energetic, affectionate working dogs, and have become my heart-breed. 

Wajoma is currently the home of:

• Aust Ch Mysql Street Sense iid (Riff) - a terrific young black-tri dog, bred in the purple, and doing really well so far on the show scene, earning his first BOB win from Minor Puppy class. Riff earned his Australian Championship title with ease, from very limited showing.
  
  
• Kinbrace A Shot In The Dark imp (Gibbs) - a stunning black tri boy, with great bloodlines and a winning personality, Gibbs is co-owned with, and will be shown exclusively by Belinda West in North Qld in 2012.

• Comeby Lil Miss Sunshine HT (Sunni) -Sunni is a beautiful Blue Merle girl, co-owned with Comeby Kennels (Vic). Sunni will be our foundation bitch, she is Ella's mum. Sunni returned to Comeby in 2012 and gave them a beautiful litter, and is now playing the in the Herding arena for a little while. .

• Aust Ch Wajoma My Happiness (Ella) - Ella is my first home bred Champion, and I'm really proud of her. She's only young, but she has a bright future and had a very successful year in the show ring winning age in show fringies and having success in the specialty ring with a Puppy in Show at the Queensland Specialty 2011.
